In 2015, Waterdrop’s founder, Martin Donald Murray, was working in the corporate world when he noticed two things: people weren’t drinking enough water, and plastic bottles were everywhere. He believed there had to be a better way, something that encouraged healthy hydration while reducing our impact on the planet.
So he teamed up with a small group of like-minded innovators and wellness lovers to create something different: a tiny cube that transforms water into a flavorful, vitamin-rich experience. No sugar. No plastic. No waste.
What started as a bold idea in Vienna soon became a movement. With a clear mission and a lot of passion, the Waterdrop team built a global brand that helps people drink more water and do better for the planet, one Microdrink at a time.
